BARAMULLA, Apr 16: Former Union Minister and president PCC Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz has said that only Congress Party can come up to the expectations of the people and solve their issues.
Addressing a public gathering at Nellsar in Sangrama area of Baramulla today, Prof Soz asked the people to support Congress as only this party can solve their issues and come up to their expectations. He urged the people to remain steadfast with the Congress Party as this party alone can solve their difficulties.
He assured the people that their grievances pertaining to lack of electricity infrastructure, shortage of power, dilapidated condition of schools and roads and lack of healthcare facilities would be taken up with concerned ministers.
Responding to the demands of the area put forth by the speakers, Prof Soz said that party leaders of the area and Sarpanchs should remain in touch with senior Congress leader Shoaib Nabi Lone and directly with him so that attention of the Administration is invited to their issues for resolution.
Other senior party leaders Mohd Muzaffar Parray (MLC), Ghulam Nabi Monga-MLC, Bashir Ahmed Magray -MLC, Mir Mushtaq and Shoiab Lone also addressed the gathering.
