REASI, July 21: In a tragic road accident, two brothers among three youth died when their car fell into deep gorge at Lower Bagga in Mahore tehsil, this morning.
While two persons reportedly died on the spot, the third one succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. They were on way from Badder to Mahore.
The deceased were identified as Mohd Ayoub and his brother Iqbal (both in early twenties), sons of Nazir, resident of Badder and Bashir Ahmed (22), son of Qamar Din of Badder, Mahore.
The accident took place this morning when the brand new Tata Tiago car skidded off the road and slipped into more than 500 meters deep Ans Nallah at Lower Bagga resulting into on the spot death of two persons.
Police with the help of locals launched rescue operation and shifted the critically injured victim to Sub District hospital Mahore. However, he succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to GMC Hospital Jammu.
As per the information, total three persons were traveling in the car, which was on way from Badder to Mahore, when it met with the accident at Bagga. After skidding off road, the car somersaulted several times before hitting boulders 500 feet deep in Ans Nallah.
