SRINAGAR, Apr 16: Scores of parents today protested against the hike in tuition fee and bus fare of the students by the private schools.
The agitated parents said that private schools in Kashmir were arbitrarily resorting to illogical fee hike and take parents for a ride.
“My daughter is studying in Nursery standard, before March the school was charging Rs. 780 as monthly fees and Rs 720 as bus fare, but now it has been hiked to Rs 870 and Rs. 940 respectively,” said one of the parents.
The parents demanded that Government intervention to check the hiking of fee by the private schools.
