JAMMU, July 23: All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association, led by Dr Prithvi Paul Raina, submitted a memorandum to the Divisional Level Committee headed by DSEJ – Anuradha Gupta, to consider and recommend the 13- points for according sanction and issuance of required SROs/appropriate orders by the School Education Department.
The Association demanded that transfers and postings of Lecturers be effected at respective Directorate level and placement of Key Resource Person Lecturers/Sr Lecturers / Experienced Lecturers with professional degree of B Ed or M Ed in SIEs & DIETs for effective educational research and development.
The Association also demanded time bound promotions for Plus 2 Cadre /Assured Career Progression for whole Plus two Cadre from Lecturers to Jt Directors along pending anomaly, promotion of Lecturers to Principals on 80 percent Sr Lecturers, 10 percent Lecturers with Ph D qualifications and 10 percent ZEOs quota, non vacational status to Principals and those Lecturers who work during vacations, consideration of SED as Feeding Department to KAS, 10 percent quota for KAS inductions out of Lecturers in SED, resumption of About 40 percent quota for Plus 2 cadre Lecturers for Higher Education Department with age relaxations upto 48 years, removal of pay anomalies of Plus 2 Cadre Lecturers, placement of about 3000 Lecturers as Sr Lecturers, residential accommodation to Administrators as well as teaching faculty in far flung areas to enhance the performance of every one in the department, filling up of all posts of ZEOs from out of Sr Lecturers, creation of the post of Vice Principal in SED, taking over of all Physical Education Lecturers from YS&S Department to SED & remove their pay & Grade anomalies, regularisation of all incharge incumbents from Lecturers to Jt Directors, including Headmasters and ZEOs.
The Association assured all possible support and cooperation to the Director in her ongoing efforts for the upliftment of the Education Department and doing restless efforts for betterment of the students.
Director School Education assured the delegation that all their demands would be projected and highlighted in its report.
The delegation comprised of Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Narinder Sharma, Sanjew Kumar Pandita, Sanjeev Kumar, Kapil Banotra, Prem Pal Verma, Suresh Raina and others.
