Kavinder starts work on lanes, drains

JAMMU, July 23: Former Deputy Chief Minister and BJP senior leader, Kavinder Gupta along with former MLC, Vikram Randhawa today started the work of lanes and drains in Qasim Nagar area of Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that the long pending demand of Qasim Nagar residents has been fulfilled with the start of lanes and drains construction.
He appealed to the masses to contribute some of their time for keeping their localities clean and green so that mission of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for ‘Swachch Bharat’ could be achieved.
He instructed the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) officials that quality of works should be maintained in the area and stressed upon the locals to keep vigil on the quality of the material being used during the execution of developmental works in their area.
JMC Councilor, Sharda Kumari was also present on the occasion and she hailed Kavinder Gupta for giving due attention to the development matters of the area.
Later, Kavinder Gupta toured Shigligarh Mohalla, Chatha where locals projected demands and Gupta assured that all the approved projects would be started soon.
He also appealed to the public to follow the guidelines issued by the government for controlling the spread of Coronavirus.
