JAMMU, July 26: Partap Singh Jamwal today demanded to abolish Toll Plaza at Lakhanpur and accused the UT administration of turning a ‘blind eye’ towards the genuine demands of the public.
He alleged that since the BJP came into power, it is busy only to establish Toll Plazas in Jammu. “The Jammu city which is commonly known as ‘City of Temple’ but the BJP has converted the ‘City of Temple’ into ‘City of Toll Plazas’ by establishing three toll plazas in Jammu region including Ban, Sarore and now at Lakhanpur,” he said, adding that the UT administration was mulling to establish one more plaza at Akhnoor road.
He demanded that the administration should extirpate the new Toll Plaza from Lakhanpur, otherwise peoples of Jammu region would show their power during election by casting their votes against BJP.
