3 arrested in attempt to murder case, 6 still at large

JAMMU, July 28: Gajansoo Police arrested three persons involved in attempt to murder case, while six others are still at large.
As per police sources, on July 24 this year, a complaint was lodged by Mohammad Aslam, son of Mirbaz of Karloop with Border Police Post (BPP) Gajansoo stating that on July 23 this year, his son namely Mohammad Saleem was cutting the grass for his cattle at Chathi Morh when 9 persons identified as Nirmal Singh, son of Jung Bhadur Singh, Jung Bhadur Singh, son of Shallo Singh of Kallasay Chak, Vishal Sharma, son of Vijay Sharma of Galwadey Chak, Bawa Singh and Rishi Singh, sons of Suram singh, Amit Singh, son of Dalip Singh, Inderpal Singh, son of Kaka Singh, Sachin Sharma, son of Parshotam Sharma and Ravi Singh, son of Krishan Lal, all residents of Chatha Gujjaran attacked his son with deadly weapons i.e toka and sword with common and criminal intention and also with old enmity. Due to this his son received multiple injuries on his head and other part of body and some local persons shifted him to hospital for medical treatment.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 120/2020 under Sections 307, 341, 323, 147, 148, 109, 120-B and 506 IPC and 4/25 and 4/27 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from BPP Gajansoo conducted raid in different places and after hectic efforts arrested three accused, who were identified as Vishal Sharma, Nirmal Singh and Sumit Singh.
Hunt is going on to nab others.
Police team led by Incharge BPP Gajansoo ASI Sanjeet Singh made the arrest along with SHO Kanachack Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar under the supervision of SDPO Kosheen Koul, SP Operations Naresh Singh and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
