Week-long functions to mark celebration of J&K’s reorganisation: Dadhichi

JAMMU, July 28: Week -long programmes to mark the first anniversary of reorganization of Jammu Kashmir. The Sanatan Dharam Sabha will celebrate the Ekatamta Divas in a big way i.e the 5th, August, on the day when Jammu Kashmir was reorganized. This was stated by Purshotam Dadhichi, president, Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Jammu Kashmir.
He disclosed that celebrations will commence from July 30 and will continue till August 5. It was August 5 last year when the Central Government broke the barriers of the secessionist forces in Jammu and Kashmir and a new era of justice, transparency and unity started. While celebrations guidelines in view of COVID- 19 pandemic to followed strictly, added, Dadhichi.
He further elaborated that function of 30th July will be dedicated to the martyrs of Parjaparishad Andolan. These agitators from Hiranagar, Ramban, Jourian and Sunderbani laid down their lives to keep the National Flag fly high and for the cause of EK Vidhan, Ek Nishan and Ek Pradhan. 31st July will be dedicated towards the soldiers who laid down their lives while fighting with terrorism and guarding the borders of country. On August 2 the programme will be focused on constitution and implementation of Ek Vidhan in Jammu Kashmir will be discussed. On 3rd August discussions will be held on various disputed Article due to which many people were deprived of their rights for long 73 years.
Purshotam Dadhichi said that, on 4th August event will be focused on oath to commitment for which the Parliament has unanimously passed a resolution in the year 1994 to take back PoJK. In 1962 China has occupied vast area of Jammu and Kashmir. The discussions will be held to take back PoJK. The 5th August will be celebrated as first anniversary of Jammu Kashmir Ekatmta divas. Every house will unfurl the National Flag. The People of UTs will be made aware of the benefits and changes due to Ek Vidhan, Ek Nishan , Ek Pradhan. Sanatan Dharam Sabha president also appealed the general public that on the same day after the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Ram Janam Bhumi Temple at Ayodhya, celebrate this by lighting the lamps.
