Heavy shelling in Kupwara

SRINAGAR, July 28: Army today said that Pakistan violated ceasefire in Kupwara sector of North Kashmir and Army gave befitting reply.
Srinagar based Defence spokesman, Rajesh Kaila said here that Pakistani troops violated ceasefire in Macchil and Gugaldara sectors of Kupwara by firing mortars and other weapons. He said that Indian troops gave befitting reply.
However, no loss of life or property was reported in the two areas.
