JAMMU, Aug 3: OBC Department of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee here today flayed J&K UT administration for allegedly closing exit points of Mubarak Mandi residential area.
In a handout Suresh Dogra, Congress OBC Department leader said that old heritage complex of Mubarak Mandi is surrounded by residential area where thousands of people live and have their conveyance to move from their houses to their workplace but today all of the residents of this area were locked as the administration has installed gates at both entrances and exit points of Mubarak Mandi complex.
Dogra said, this closure shall put the locals of the area to face many problems especially at the time of emergency for carrying sick people to hospital.
He also said that the UT Government should rethink over the move and appealed to the LG, Girish Chandra Murmu to intervene into the matter.
