JAMMU, Aug 4: Advocate Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC assured the people of redressing their issues.
She stated this during surprise inspection of Ward Number 55.
During interaction with the residents, Advocate Purnima Sharma came to know that the people are facing problems due to long duration power cuts and irregular water supply. A damaged street was also noted by Deputy Mayor which needs immediate repair.
After the inspection, Advocate Purnima Sharma held a meeting with the Greater Kailash Welfare Society and discussed all the problems.
Advocate Purnima Sharma assured the members of the Society that all the issues have been noted and timely action will be taken regarding all the problems so that no one has to suffer.
She further appealed to the locals not to venture out of there houses unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are still on the rise. “Maintain social distancing and wear mask when you step out of your houses”, she advised the residents.
Darshan Grover Ward President BJP, Vikram Charak, Veer Bakshi, Mandeep Choudhary, Rajneesh Khajuria, and other prominent residents of the Ward were present on the occasion.
