JAMMU, Aug 7: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders led by former UT President BJP Sat Sharma met Chief Engineer Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) Er Gurmeet Singh and apprised him of power problems being faced by inhabitants of various areas in Jammu province.
UT Vice Presidents BJP Yudhvir Sethi and Aseem Gupta and former MLC Vikram Randhawa also accompanied Sat Sharma.
The leaders held a fruitful meeting with the Chief Engineer and it was brought to his notice that many areas in Jammu Province covering all 37 Assembly Constituencies are facing many difficulties regarding frequent electricity cuts and low voltage and it’s not just Jammu but outer areas as well covering many areas of Jammu province that are facing these problems.
The leaders also submitted complaints of various other areas and gave the Chief Engineer a memorandum regarding grievances of the public.
They urged the Chief Engineer to look into the problems of the masses and solve them and said that this is the time when there is a dire requirement of power.
Chief Engineer assured them that all their problems will be looked into seriously and JPDCL is committed to provide power to all areas in Jammu province.
