JAMMU, Aug 7: Akhnoor police nabbed a hardcore criminal.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Akhnoor Police Station apprehended a hardcore criminal identified as Amar Parshad alias Pappu Bhaiya, son of Ram Prashad of Sungal Morh Tehsil Akhnoor district Jammu.
He was involved in 3 cases registered under FIR Numbers 87/2020 under Sections 341, 323 and 382 IPC, 103/2020 under Sections 452, 354, 294, 323, 504 and 506 IPC and 109/2020 under Sections 447, 427, 336 and 506 IPC with Police Station Akhnoor.
The criminal was evading his arrest and trying to avoid prosecution.
Police has started investigation into the cases on fast track basis to ensure justice to the victims.
