DODA, Aug 8: A Gram Rozgar Sahayak (GRS) has been suspended after the allegation of embezzlement of Government funds in Changa block, here.
Official sources said that on the basis of public complaints of Panchayats Samie about the massive irregularities and misappropriation of Government funds, GRS Samie Shafqat Hussain, son of Shamas Din of Changa has been placed under suspension.
The suspension order was issued by ACD Doda Kishori Lal.
The GRS has been attached in the office of ACD Doda, the order read.
Further, BDO Changa, VLW Panchayats Samie and concerned JE shall report to ACD Doda along with complete records and explain why action may not be initiated against them as well, the order read.
