KATRA, Aug 8: Continuing its drive to curb the illegal mining, Katra Police conducted checking and seized three tractor trollies carrying illegally extracted minor mineral.
Reports said that during the night of August 7-8, Katra Police intercepted three tractor trollies, which were being used in the business of illegal mining and brought the matter into the notice of District Mining Officer Reasi.
Pertinent to mention that the District Magistrate Reasi has issued orders imposing restrictions on the use of heavy machinery in mining.
