JAMMU, Aug 9: Up in arms against frequent power cuts, residents of Bhour Camp today held a strong protest demonstration at Chatha Grid Station.
The protesting people raised slogans against the PDD authorities and alleged that the officials on duty were intentionally interrupting the power supply.
Sushil Sudan, who led the protest demonstration, alleged that despite repeated pleas to the concerned authorities for upgrading the transformer but no action was taken while the officials on duty at Chatha Grid Station were also not cooperative.
The protesting people threatened to block Karan Bagh road near Airport if immediate measures are not taken for uninterrupted power supply.
