SAMBA, Aug 10: J&K State Central Labour Union (SCLU), Jammu today appealed the J&K Government to issue standing instructions to the concerned officers to release the payment in favour of subscribers of JKEPFO.
Discussing the issue in a meeting of its general body meeting held under the chairmanship of Nar Singh Narania at Bari Brahmana, SCLU leaders said that subscribers of J&K Employees Provident Fund Organization (JKEPFO) working as daily wagers of PHE, PDD, PWD, Irrigation and Flood Control, Agriculture Department, and other establishments have been facing many problems due to non-settlement of PF withdrawal cases.
“The subscribers have approached the concerned district offices of Jammu Division viz. Jammu Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Doda and Rajouri for final/advance payment but there is no payment in the official account of JKEPFO,” they said and appealed the Government to release payment in favour of subscribers of JKEPFO.
The Union leaders warned the UT/Central Government of launching the agitation and protests if no appropriate steps are taken at the earliest.
