JAMMU, Aug 13: On the occasion of 74th Independence Day, Range Police Headquarters has awarded 16 police officers alongwith 30 officials and 11 wards of police personnel with merit certificates and medals.
The Certificate of Merit in recognition of outstanding performance in Crime, Traffic Management and COVID-19 duties have been awarded to Dr Satish Bhardwaj, DySP SDPO Arnas, Ahmad Shaafi, DySP SDPO Chenani, Himat Singh, DySP DAR DPL Udhampur, Inspector Vijay Thakur SHO Police Station Reasi, Inspector Rattan Singh SHO Police Station Mahore and SI Jaswinder Choudhary, Incharge Police Post Tikri.
The Certificate of Merit in recognition of hectic efforts in rescuing and retrieving the dead bodies of five family members from Kaghote Nallah Ramnagar and 18 years old boy from River Tawi near village Diyar Dabbar Tandhar Chenani has been awarded to Garu Ram, DySP SDPO Ramnagar, Inspector Pushpinder Singh SHO Police Station Chenani, SI Jaswinder Singh, SHO Police Station Ramnagar, HC Rattan of Police Station Ramnagar, SPO Gushu Ram of Police Station Ramnagar, SPO Bhikham of Police Station Ramnagar, SPO Jaswant of Police Station Ramnagar and SPO Bushan Kumar of Police Station Chenani.
The Certificate of Merit in recognition of outstanding COVID-19 duties has been awarded to ASI Ashwani Kumar, ASI Azad Hussain, ASI Subash Singh, HC Kulbir Singh, HC Mohammad Farooq, HC Vijay Kumar, HC Ajay Kumar, HC Bipan Lal, SgCt Sandoo Singh, SgCt Anchal Singh, SgCt Abdul Qayoom, SgCt Tara Chand, Constable Amit Kumar, Constable Dilbag Singh, SPO Abdul Satrar, SPO Rahul Sharma, SPO Gopal Krishan, SPO Rakesh Singh, SPO Amar Singh and SPO Romesh Kumar from District Udhampur, while SI Anchal Singh, ASI Partap Singh, ASI Thakur Dutt Sangra, HC Gurmeet Singh and Constable Ashraf Ali from District Reasi.
The Certificate of Merit to wards of police personnel for outstanding performance in JKBOSE 10th and 12th examinations have been awarded to Snorav Sawhney, Rabiya Tabassum, Priya Devi, Bandhu Thakur, Neha Thakur, Arunesh Singh Bandral, Gunn Manhas, Anish Goswami, Nazeen Kouser, Akshit Sharma and Muneshwar Singh.
The Certificate of Merit to police personnel of RPHQ Udhampur/District Udhampur in recognition of outstanding performance in completing different duties and tasks have been given to Imtiaz Ahmed, DySP Staff Officer, RPHQ Udhampur, HC Pawan Kumar, SgCt Pawan Kumar, SgCt Kunal Kumar, Follower Pritam Chand, SPO Suram Singh and SPO Abdul Rashid.
