JAMMU, Apr 19: Police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered 60 frooties from his possession at Gangyal.
He has been identified as Suresh Prashad, son of Shakal Dev Sahu, a resident of Rampur in Vaishali district of Bihar, presently putting up at Phase-3, Gangyal.
He was smuggling the frooties when a police team headed by SHO Gangyal Inspector Surinder Khadyal captured him.
A case has been registered against him at Gangyal police station under Section 48 (A) Excise Act.
