KARGIL, Apr 19: Mini bus operators in Kargil are on strike for the last three days in protest against the local administration’s decision of restricting passage of the transport vehicles through the main bazaar.
Due to the ongoing strike, a lot of problems are being faced by the general public, majority of which is not in a position to hire taxies for the transportation.
On third day of the strike, District PDP joined the Mini bus operators and president PDP unit Kargil Advocate Ghulam Murtaza assured all possible support to the agitating operators.
Meanwhile, the local administration has conceded the demand of Taxi operators for allowing them to park their vehicles in the main market at the identified site.
