REASI, Apr 19: Marriage engagement against her wishes led a young girl to commit suicide by jumping from a hillock in a remote village of Mahore, here today.
Identity of the deceased was established as Afroza Bano (18), daughter of Abdul Majid of village Neoz. She jumped from the hillock and died while on being shifted to the hospital.
Though Police have registered a case and started investigation, reports said that the deceased was upset over her engagement by the family members against her wishes.
