Police rescues 13 bovine animals

SAMBA, Apr 19: In a daring act a police team Ghagwal Police Station led by SHO Chaman Lal Gorkha, Inspector chased a vehicle from Ghagwal carrying bovine animals from Punjab to Kashmir and captured it at Bari Brahmana early this morning.
However the inmates of vehicle managed to flee giving a slip to the police. The police rescued the 9 bovine animals and seized the truck bearing the registration number JK02AJ 6304.
The truck earlier which broke the Naka at Ghagwal was chased by the police party led by SHO immediately. It also broke several nakas from Ghagwal to Bari Brahmana where it was finally captured by the police. The Ghagwal police has registered a case and started investigations.
In another case four bovine animals were rescued by Samba Police during a naka at Samaba today. However the smugglers managed to escape. The Samba Police has registered a case in this regard.
