SRINAGAR, Apr 19: Jammu and Kashmir Bank RSETI Bandipora concluded its two entrepreneurship development programmes, in which 50 candidates from the district were imparted trainings in ‘Mobile Repairing’ and ‘Sozni Work’.
The candidates for ‘Mobile Repairing’ programme were identified by the institute jointly with Hamdard Educational Trust, an NGO, during the awareness camp held in few months ago.
The trainees were provided with the inputs and imparted required skills in mobile repairing.
Speaking on the occasion, Director RSETI Bandipora M M Fayaz advised the trainees to start their own small mobile repairing outlets for a dignified livelihood. The batch was sponsored by Hamdard Educational Trust.
Another batch of 25 trainees from Sumbal was sponsored by DRDA Bandipora. The participants were provided training in ‘Sozni Work’ for seven days.
Speaking on the occasion, DDM NABARD D S Khanagwal briefed the participants about various schemes available for the participants.
He further assured full support for the trainees in future.
Director institute assured the trainees of complete support and urged them to work hard so that they can earn with dignity.
Meanwhile, in collaboration with the Lead Bank Department, the Bank’s FLCC Kulgam organized financial literacy camps at Government Higher Secondary School Bugam and Nanibugh.
The camp at Bugam was attended by the Principal, faculty members and large number of students.
Facilitator FLCC, Abdul Rashid Hakeem gave an overview of the Bank’s Schemes particularly Child Care and Mehandi Deposit.
Lead District Manager, G N Dar spoke at length about Education Finance and insisted upon the students to develop the habit of savings by opening accounts with the nearby Business Unit.
