JAMMU, Aug 17: BJP J&K UT president, Ravinder Raina today discussed the functioning of cells with their convenors and co-convenors. He asked them to share details of issues they faced during the period of COVID lockdown and encouraged them to come up with innovative techniques to reach to the masses. He prompted all cell convenors to extend their reach directly to their beneficiaries. He also said that the cells help in strengthening the basic organizational structure of the party. Empowered Party Cells will provide strong platform to various social groups to raise their genuine demands, he added.
Raina, while chairing the meeting of convenors and co-convenors of its cells at party Headquarters Trikuta Nagar here, said the COVID Pandemic has put a big challenge before us all and we have to face it with courage and educate the people to take precautionary measures. The meeting was also addressed by party’s general secretaries, Vibodh Gupta and Dr. D. K. Manyal and party’s All Cells Incharge Rakesh Mahajan.
Convenors and co-convenors of party’s Refugees Cell, Cooperative Cell, Weavers Cell, Human Right Cell, Sports, Art and Culture Cell, Transport Cell, Professional Cell, Employees Cell, Sanskriti Cell, Senior Citizen Cell, Urban Local Body, Industries and Traders, Protocol Cell (Jammu), Legal Cell, Health and Medical Cell, Village Defense Committee Cell, Border Area Welfare Cell and Social Welfare Cell participated in the meeting.
Vibodh Gupta asked the Cell convenors and co-convenors to ensure that all the Government sponsored beneficial schemes reach up to the targeted beneficiaries so as to serve their intended purpose.
Dr. Manyal stressed on the facts that the party’s cells must operate in close relationship to the general masses in order to highlight their genuine grievances and issues before the senior party leadership.
Rakesh Mahajan assured the senior leadership that the party Cells will ensure their reach to the masses. He said that with the commitment of party activists, Cells will work dedicatedly within the targeted communities.
