JAMMU, Aug 17: All J&K Diploma Engineers Association expressed serious concern over delaying attitude of the authorities in releasing promotion orders.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of Upinder Singh, president of the organization here today, the members discussed their burning issues. They alleged that J&K UT administration was causing unnecessary delay in issuing promotion lists for the posts of AE, AEE and Executive Engineer from Diploma cadre in all the engineering wings.
They warned the administration of denying quota of 20% earmarked for Diploma Engineers. They regretted that administration was soft paddling over the issue. They demanded that cadre strength be maintained as accordance with GAD’s order No. 107 of 2000.
