JAMMU, Aug 18: A migrant labourer was found dead today under mysterious circumstances in Bishnah area of city outskirts.
“The dead body of Amrit Lal (35) son of Bharat, resident of Chhattisgarh (at present living in village Chak Avtara, tehsil Bishnah) was found lying in a field at village Chak Avtara,” a police official said adding some liquor pouches was also recovered from the pockets of the deceased.
He said that the dead body of deceased was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Bishnah for postmortem while inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police station Bishnah to ascertain the reason of death.
