No Dearth of Divine grace

Vijay Vohra
Two Years have passed like two decades since our Lord Sri Satya Sai Baba left his physical form.  Though we feel his presence in every moment of lives, yet we feel miserable because our eyes can’t see Him in His beautiful enchanting form. No doubt we miss His physical presence badly.
In His later years our Sai’s body suffered for our sake. He took upon His body all our illnesses and our problems. Like Christ He too underwent crucification so that we may be cleansed of our sins. He could have left His physical frame in an instant but He always said”, My life is my message,” so He confirmed His message in the end too. He left  His body like an ordinary mortal.
What we require is unwavering faith and one pointed devotion. Intense devotion has the power to change each and every person in the world. Swami is still showering His grace of Divine Love equally on all his children, irrespective of their caste, creed, race and religion. It is natural for the sun to radiate its light and warmth in all directions equally. We cannot detach the fragrance of the rose from its flower. Similarly, the form and formless are inseparable. We used to see Bhagwan’s form in puttaparthy and experienced His formless and all pervasive divinity wherever we were, whenever we thought of Him, His beautiful form filled our minds and hearts. Just because we cannot see His form now, it does not mean that He is not around. The formless Bhagwan is felt more and more in each devotee’s heart and that has been the experience of the million of devotees across the globe. SWAMI’S LOVE IS TO BE FELT WITHIN ONESELF.
Bhagwan is full of Divine nectar. When we experience the love of Bhagwan we are filled with immense joy. It is for this joy that we all devotees throng Prashanti Nilayam again and again from different parts of the world. It is said that mother tortoise’s mere glance is sufficient for the nutrition of her young ones. They remember (meditate upon) their mother and her glance is down pour of nectar for them. Similar is the relation between Guru and disciples. And this relationship has been experienced by millions of Bhagwan Satya Sai Baba’s devotees.
On previous occasions when God incarnated on earth, the bliss of recognizing Him in the incarnation was vouchsafed only after the physical embodiment had left the world. Then even Avtar’s parents, Kinsmen and comrades hesitated to adore them. Only a few sages who cultivated the inner vision through study and sadhna knew their reality. First time in the history of mankind any Avatar has reached to such a multitude of people. Before this only a few fortunate could come in close contact with the Avatar. Now crores of people are visiting Shirdi to have Baba’s blessings every year. But when He was present in His physical form, a very few fortunate persons believed in His Divinity.
The Lord comes as Avatar when He     is anxiously awaited by saints and sages. The formless being comes in the form of a human being so that he may mix with the human beings and set up examples and ideas for human beings and convey to them all aspects that they should learn. The Avatar behaves in a human way so that mankind can feel kinship, but rises to superhuman heights so that mankind can aspire to those heights.
The impact and work of the Avatar will be unfolded in the great magnitude and extensively when the Avatar leaves the physical frame. The purpose of the physical manifestation is to show the humanity His worshipful Human Form, to establish ideals for the living beings and to give message of hope in the contemporary context and requirements which are geared to mindset of that Yuga. If the Avatar possessed only non-human elements then His life could not be an example for common mortals. This is exemplified by the often repeated statement of Bhagwan, “My life is my message”.
The message of the Avatar turns away the people from their unfulfilled worldly desires and draws them to particular spiritual centre. The true mission of the Avatar begins only when He starts drawing people into His fold. The Avatar is like a powerful beacon of light which illumines our intellect to enable us to perceive the truth in right perspective, Sri Satya Sai baba the Avatar of love incarnated on earth to do away with artificial boundaries created by man on the basis of caste, color, Creed, community, race or religion and unite the world into one empire of love where every heart is the temple of God. The glory and magnificence of this empire is bound to grow as it is erected on the strong pillars of Satya, Dharma, Shanti, Prema and Ahimsa.
Out of billions of people in the world, a few millions of us are extremely fortunate to have his darshan during His life time. He showered this Kripa upon   us because we accepted His silent invitation to visit Him wherever we were in the different countries of the world. It was creator’s love for His creation that drew us to Him. The cures and healings are His blessings on the path of our devotion and love for the Swami.
Faith in the living God is not as easy as one would believe it. Complete, absolute and unflinching faith in Him is really only possible if you have His Kripa (grace). He alone can make such faith ever sustaining. Swami said, “Faith in God is the secure foundation on which hope has to be built. The faith has to be stable and strong. The feeling that God will come to our rescue has to be vivid and vital, motivating and activating all that we do or speak or think. Faith can work wonders: It can compel the Lord to manifest himself and give you what you believe He will give you. An individual who has faith in God must put his faith into practice. By believing in God and yet by ignoring God’s utterances and commands, you are contradicting yourselves. Faith is not a clock that is worn outside for deceiving others”.
The essential qualities which make us dear to Sai Bhagwan are a clean mind, a pure heart, the speech based only on truth, and body which is used in the service of humanity. Let us all make His message our lives and lead a divine life. We should pray to Swami to bless us all so that we turn inward and experience Him in our hearts. Our youngster should make their hearts pure and open to receive Him when He will come again as “Prema Sai Baba”.
With the advance of time the number that follows the great Sai Baba will be increasingly large and it will soon be so large that others will actually drift into union. Humanity it will be observed can and shall offer no resistance whatsoever against divine currents. Shirdi and puttaparthy will be pilgrims centre for generation to come as both shall provide peace bliss and solace to the entire mankind.
