JAMMU, Aug 19: Police team along with sleuths of Excise Department arrested owner of a dhaba along with 19 bottles of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information about sale of illicit liquor, a team from Manwal Police Post along with sleuths from Excise Department conducted raid at a dhaba and recovered 19 bottles of illicit liquor.
The dhaba owner identified as Karnail Singh was arrested on the spot.
A case under relevant sections of Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal Sharma and SP Rural Jammu Suram Singh.
