JAMMU, Aug 23: JAKFED employees here today staged a protest demonstration demanding release of their pending salaries and utilization of their services against the available vacant posts in Government departments.
A handout stated that State Administrative Council had decided to wind up JAKFED vide an order on June 13, 2019 and general order on September 4, 2019.
The protesters claimed that after that order, from a total of 167 employees serving in JAKFED, 90 were send on deputation to other Government departments and they are getting regular salaries while the remaining 77 have not got their salaries since September 2019.
Demanding salaries these employees said even the PM has also said that salaries of the employees should not be stopped.
