JAMMU, Aug 25: A video conferencing meeting of All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association was held here today under the presidium of Dr P P Raina along with all Executive Committee members for highlighting the important issues facing the Plus 2 Cadre Officers like filling up of all vacant positions of Principals and Lecturers.
The Association also appealed the concerned authorities to issue transfers orders of Principals and Lecturers who have been waiting for their repatriation to home district after completion of 2 years stay. The Association members also strongly objected to the transfers of blue eyed/ political influenced employees on city to city and on zero kilometers basis in the recent orders.
“There is a dire need to decentralize the powers of effecting transfers of Lecturers and Principals to respective Directorates,” they stressed.
The Association strongly demanded regularisation of all Incharge cadre Officers from Lecturers to Jt Directors level who are waiting since 2003/ 2008. Placement of Sr Lecturers as ZEOs and equivalents, filling of all the vacant posts of ZEOs out of Sr Lecturers, provision of non vacational status to Principals and Lecturers, placement of about 3000 regularised Lecturers ( DPC and PSC) as Sr Lecturers were also demanded. The Association strongly demanded to consider the School Education Department’s Plus 2 Cadre as Feeding Department for KAS .
The members who took part in the video conferencing, included Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Sanjew Kumar Pandita, Narinder Kumar Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar, Kapil Banotra, Prem Pal Verma, Suresh Raina, Dr Balgar Singh, Kewal Krishan Sharma ,R K Chadda, Gourav Sharma and others.
