JAMMU, Aug 29: The Government today constituted a committee to examine the issues relating to Inter State Council in light of the recommendations of MM Punchi Commission and the observations of the Standing Committee of the Inter-State Council.
According to the order, the Financial Commissioner Finance Department will the Chairman of the Committee, while the Administrative Secretaries of Home Department, Housing and Urban Development Department, General Administration Department and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj will be the members of the Committee.
The Administrative Secretary, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs will be the Member (Secretary) of the Committee.
