Inter-state sex racket busted at Jawalamukhi

DHARAMSHALA, Apr 21:
The Kangra police today busted an inter-state sex racket after raiding a private hotel in Jalwamukhi town of the district and arrested seven people including four women and three men. Sub Divisional Police Officer Dehra , B D Bhatia today said the police raided the hotel Pankaj in Jawalamukhi temple town on a tip-off and arrested seven people including the hotel owner and manager.
DSP Bjatia said the accused arrested under immoral trafficking Act were identified as Mohinder Sharma- manager of the hotel, owner, Anil Chowhan, Arun Kumar, Resident of Dehra town , Sunita, 29, resident of of Patna, Bihar, Neetu, 30 , of Shimlapuri Ludhiana, Luxmi, 29, of Islamganj Ludhiana, and Laprit, 23, years of Faridkot, Punjab. DSP said the gang was involved in immoral trafficking activities for the past few weeks. The accused were under police custody and were being interrogated.
Police registered a case under various sections of Immoral Traffic prevention Act-1956 and accused would be produced in the court tomorrow, police said. (UNI)
