JAMMU, Apr 21:  Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DFSS), under the leadership of its president, Ashok Gupta took out a procession from Jewel Chowk to Press Club against the UPA Government for not taking a lesson from the Delhi gang rape case, leading to such a dreadful rape of a five year old girl.
Addressing the protestors, Gupta said this is a shame for the country and UPA Government that despite a strong discussion in the Parliament to frame strong rules for women safety and strong punishment for the culprits after the Delhi gang rape case, the Government has proved failure in curbing such incidents.
Further expressing the anguish he advocated for making anti-rape laws more stringent, which provide for death penalty in cases of rape of minors. He also demanded that legal machinery be made more effective so that such cases should not be dragged for years.
