JAMMU, Sept 3: Dr Ashutosh Gupta, Head Regional Cancer Center, Government Medical College Jammu and noted Oncologist lost his father Professor Ved Pal Gupta today.
Professor Ved Pal Gupta was not keeping well for last few months. He was suffering from multi system involvement. He was on home peritoneal dialysis. He breathed his last at his home today morning. He was 82.
He was a well known personality of Jammu region. He was a biology teacher par excellence. Most of the senior doctors, other leading figures of the region were taught by him. Prof Gupta was also well known in social sphere of Jammu region.
All his students, colleagues, friends and other society members will fondly remember him for the services he rendered for every one. He was very popular especially among his students for the personal touch that he put into his teaching classes.
