JAMMU, Sept 3: National President Youth NYFO, Rishi Kaul Kilam along with NYFO National General Secretary, Aditi Sharma visited number of villages of Darap area of Gandhi Nagar Constituency to take the stock of problems being faced by the farmers after the recent floods.
During the visit Aditi Sharma saw the collapsed Darap Bridge which was completely washed away due to floods.
Speaking on the occasion she said that it is ironic that the bridge was constructed totally with sub-standard material.
The bridge was connecting a large number of villages.
Locals of the area demanded high level enquiry into the bridge collapse.
The farmers raised their issues and said that people of Gandhi Nagar outskirt are always ignored by the authorities.
Aditi and Rishi assured the people of the area to highlight their problems with the concerned authorities to get their issues resolved.
Sushil Dutt Shashi, Arif Chaudhary, Mashqur Ahmed Bhat, Vice President NYFO Youth, Rinku Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
