SRINAGAR, Sept 4: Former Congress Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Ali Mohammad Bhat died in a hospital after a brief illness. He breathed his last in S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS).
The demise of former legislator has been mourned by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who has prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family at this hour of grief.
Meanwhile, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) expressed deep shock and grief over the passing away of Bhat to the bereaved family.
PCC chief G A Mir said Bhat was a freedom Fighter. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
