Youth attacked with sharp edged weapons

Assailants flee after crime

SAMBA, Sept 6: A group of assailants attacked a youth with sharp edged weapons in the village Radma falling under the jurisdiction of Ramgarh Police Station, leaving him in a pool of blood. The attackers and the injured all belong to Arnia area of R S Pura tehsil. The assailants fled from the spot after committing the crime.
Ramgarh Police rushed to the spot and took the injured youth to Ramgarh Community Health Centre. After seeing his condition critical the doctors gave him first aid and referred him to GMC Jammu. The critically injured youth disclosed the names of assailants to the Ramgarh police who were four in number.
The injured youth have been identified as Mandeep Singh, 29, son of Rampaul Saini, resident of Kool Kalan Arnia. The assailants identified by him before the Ramgarh police were Raman resident of Kathar, Arnia, Kanu resident of Treva, Raj Kumar resident of Arnia and Kaka Jat resident of Kuddal. They inflicted serious injuries on his head, both arms and right leg with sharp edged weapons.
In this regard, Ramgarh Police has registered a case and started investigation. However no arrest was made so far.
