JAMMU, Sept 10: Panun Kashmir (PK) has endorsed the announcement of Kangna Ranaut to make a feature film on genocide and religious cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits. In a tweet on social media PK convener and well known writer, Dr Agnishekhar complimented her for her gesture saying that no body in the film industry came forward till date since the mass exodus of the community in 1990 to make a film on genocide of Kashmiri Pandits and Panun Kashmir fully endorses the move of Kangna Ranaut in this regard.
Dr Agnishekhar said “Kangna in her re -tweet appreciated my message and reiterated her commitment standing with our cause and making of film on genocide and religious cleansing of KPs”.
Dr Agnishekhar said that after the tweet of Kangna there were over four lakh followers to it on social media and people widely welcomed her gesture.
Agnishekhar in his message assured full support to Kangna from the displaced Kashmiri Pandit community saying that the community which became refugees in their own country has been totally neglected over the decades. He expressed the hope that Kangna will succeed in her endeavor as the good wished of entire community are with her.
