JAMMU, Mar 23: The annual Mahayagya of Jagatguru Bhagavaan Gopinathji was performed today at various places in India and abroad today with religious fervour and gaiety for universal peace and brotherhood.
Here at Jammu the Mahayajnya was performed at Bhagavaan Gopinathji Ashram Udaywala Bohri where a large number of devotees drawn from different parts of the city and other areas participated to pay their obeisance to Bhagavaan Ji. The rush of devotees continued from early in the morning but it swelled during the afternoon and continued late up to evening.
The devotees were waiting in long queues to have darshan of Lotus feet of Bhagavaan Ji and pay their obeisance. The Bhagavaan Ji Trust had made elaborate arrangements for the devotees and its volunteers were engaged to guide and assist them. They were also engaged on various counters for distribution of prasad, serving cold water and soft drinks and ensure hassle free movement of devotees.
The Mahayajnya started yesterday evening and Puranahuti was performed this afternoon. This was followed by serving of prasad to devotees. The Bhajan and Kirtan continued for entire day in the Ashram and the two -day long religious function concluded with Samohik Aarti in the evening.
According to a handout issued by the Trust the Mahayajnya was also simultaneously performed at Bhagavaan Ji’s Ashram at Kharyar, Srinagar in Kashmir Valley, Pamposh Enclave New Delhi, Vikas Puri West Delhi, Gole Gujral, Jammu, Amritsar, Chanidgarh, Jallandhar, Jaipur, Chembur, Kandivilli, Mumbai, Kashmir Bhavan Pune and Satsang Mandals across the globe.
