UDHAMPUR, Sept 17: Locals staged protest demonstration against PDD for supplying low voltage at Suka Talab Ramnagar, here today.
They were assembled under the leadership of Sandhoor Singh and chanted slogans against the department concerned. They were demanding to replace the low capacity transformer with heavy ones, so that the people get relief from the low voltage.
They were also raised the issue of irregular curtailment of electricity, that too in peak summer season. The issue of power curtailment and low voltage brought to notice of the higher officials but to no avail.
Others who were part of the protest included Raghubir Singh, Rakesh Singh, Pritam Singh, Kamal Singh and Balwan Singh.
