JAMMU, May 23: Baba Amaranth and Buda Amaranth (BABA) Yatri Niyas today opened registration counters for the upcoming Amarnath Ji Yatra at Ranbireshwar Mandir, Shalamar road.
The registration counters will remain open from 10 am to 7:30 pm every day from tomorrow onwards during the entire period of Shri Amarnath Yatra for the facilitation of the pilgrims.
This was disclosed during the meeting of Baba Amaranth and Buda Amaranth (BABA) Yatri Niyas.
During the meeting various issues including the commencement of Shri Amarnath Yatra and the arrangements for the devotees of Baba Amarnath Ji were discussed. The meeting was attended by several representatives of associate member organisations of BABA Yatri Niyas.
The members of the Baba Amaranth and Buda Amaranth Yatri Niyas said that they have also written to the Director Tourism Jammu for permission regarding the arrangements from June 2 onwards at Yatri Bhawan, Bhagwati Nagar for the pilgrims of Shri Amarnath Ji.
BABA Yatri Niyas has been raising its concern over the reduction of Shri Amaranth Yatra by Shri Amaranth Shrine Board for the last couple of years.
As per the communication of VHP, the first batch of pilgrims of Shri Amarnath Ji will leave Jammu on June 3 for the Holy Cave of Baba Amarnath Ji and will perform darshan at Holy Cave on auspicious Jyeshth Purnima on June 4.
