JAMMU, Sept 20: A young tractor driver was killed today when his speeding vehicle overturned in Chinore area of city outskirts.
The deceased was identified as Brijesh Lal (26) son of Sohan Lal, resident of Uttar Pradesh and at president living at Chinore (Jammu), a police official said. He said the Brijesh was on the way from Upper Chinore to Chinore Chowk on his tractor when due to over speeding, the vehicle overturned.
“In the mishap, Brijesh received serious injuries. He was immediately rushed to GMC Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors,” the official added, adding after getting conducted postmortem, his body was handed over to his family members for last rites while a case in this connection was registered by Domana police.
