JAMMU, Sept 20: Dogra Front & Shiv Sena (DF&SS) today staged protest demonstration against Pakistan for promoting narco-terrorism in bordering States of the country.
The protest was organised under the leadership of the Front, Ashok Gupta. They were chanting slogans against Pakistan and in favour of Border Security Force (BSF) for safeguarding the country from narco-terrorism.
While addressing the protestors, Gupta said that given the alertness of the BSF personnel, a consignment comprising 62 drug packets, two pistols and four magazines has been seized at village Arnia along the International Border of the RS Pura on intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. “The act of Pakistan to infect and kill our future generation by injecting drugs in their lives is condemnable,” Gupta said.
“There are clear indications that the Pakistani-based narco-terrorist networks have stepped up their activities on the Indo-Pak International Border and are making incessant attempts to push intruders, arms, ammunition and narcotics into India,” he added.
Others who were part of protest included Ankush, Bhanu, Sukhdev, Sahil, Vikrant, Abhishek, Neeraj, Ajay, Abhishek Verma and Vishal.
