JAMMU, Sept 22: Two days online awareness programme organised for Judicial Officers and Advocates of the Union Territory of Ladakh concluded, here.
The event was organised under the supervision of Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh, Gita Mittal.
On the concluding day, Justice Tashi Rabstan, Chairman of J&K High Court Mediation Committee addressed the resource persons and participants.
He said that the two days time is not enough for a thorough insight into the topic of mediation and soon a forty hours training programme will be organised for the participants as mediation being one of the most important means of ‘Alternate Dispute Resolution’.
The programme was attended by Justice Sindhu Sharma, Justice Rajnesh Oswal and Justrict Javed Iqbal Wani. The Principal District and Session Judge Leh, R S Jasrotia was the coordinated for the two day programme.
JP Sengh, the founder organising secretary of Samadhan, the Delhi High Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Sumit Chander, a trained mediator and Mithali Gupta, specialised in Arbitration, Commercial and Sports Law were the resources persons of the event.
