UDHAMPUR, Sept 23: Police foiled bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 21 cattle and arresting two persons, a police official said.
The arrested persons were identified as Rameek Singh alias Vicky, son of Harneek Singh of RS Pura District Jammu while identity of the second accused was not ascertained.
Two vehicles involved in smuggling of the cattle were seized.
Cases under relevant sections have been registered at Rehambal and Majalta Police Stations in this regard.
