UDHAMPUR, Sept 24: A woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself with ceiling fan hook at her residence in Chunanta area, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Akanksha Devi alias Anshu, wife of Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Chunanta.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Ramnagar Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
