JAMMU, Oct 3: Government Degree College Poonch today conducted online inter-collegiate quiz and essay writing competitions on the occasion of 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
In essay writing competition, Harnish Kour and Rehana Ferdose Chouhan of GDC Poonch shared 1st position, while 2nd place was clinched by Nazma Munir of GDC Poonch and 3rd position was shared by Munish Kumar Ghai and Saida Hamid, both from GDC Poonch.
In quiz competition, Manik Kumar of GCET Jammu bagged 1st position, whereas 2nd position was shared by Mridul Mahajan of Cluster University of Jammu, Owais Toheed of GDC Surankote and Nosheen Shabeer, Muskaan Javed, Meenakshi Sharma, Jahan Ara Siddique and Mehmood Hussain Shah of GDC Poonch, 3rd position was shared by Rukhsana Koser, Rayaz Ahmed and Gursimran Kour, all of them from GDC Poonch and Sonali Sharma from GGM Science College Jammu.
The event was organised under the leadership of Dr Zakir Hussain Kalis, Convener Literary Activities Committee of GDC Poonch.
