JAMMU, Oct 4: Two persons were injured critically in separate road accidents occurred in city and its outskirts.
According to a police official, Sukesh Kumar (26) son of Bodh Raj, resident of Kodheywala (Akhnoor), sustained serious injuries late last night when the bike on which he was traveling skidded on the road near Bhalwal Brahmana. The injured youth was rushed to SDH Akhnoor from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for specialized treatment.
Another mishap occurred on BC Road near Bus Stand where two speeding bike collided with each other. In the mishap, one of the bike riders namely Amit Kumar (35) son of Chander Kumar, resident of Bakshi Nagar, received critical injuries following which he was shifted to GMCH Jammu for treatment.
In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
