JAMMU, Oct 4: In a video conference meeting of All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association chaired by Dr Prithvi Paul Raina, many demands of plus 2 cadre officers were discussed.
These demands included filling up of all the vacant positions of principals and lecturers at an earliest as many senior lecturers are going to get superannuation in coming months and still most of the posts of lecturers, principals, CEOs and Joint Directors are lying vacant.
Another demand raised was that of recalling Plus 2 Officers, Lecturers, Principals and CEOs working in Leh and Ladakh since 2017 as they have completed their tenures in hard zones.
The Association also demanded transfers of principals and lecturers after completion of 2 years stay at a place.
Demand of regularization of all incharge cadre officers from Lecturers to Jt Directors who are waiting eagerly since 2003/2008 was also raised.
Placement of Sr Lecturers as ZEOs and equivalent was also demanded along with the provision of non-vacational status to principals and lecturers who work in summer and winter vacations.
Placement of about 3000 regularised lecturers (DPC and PSC) and physical education lecturers be granted their pay and grades at par with lecturers of school education department and considering the School Education Department’s Plus 2 Cadre as Feeding Department for KAS was also demanded.
Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar Pandita, Narinder Kumar Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar, Kapil Banotra, Prem Pal Verma, Coordinators Suresh Raina, Dr Balgar Singh, Kewal Krishan Sharma, R.K Chadda, Gourav Sharma and others also attended the video conference.
