Kranti Dal accuses Traffic Police of harassing people

JAMMU, Oct 4: Kranti Dal president, Pritam Sharma condemned the irresponsible behavior of Traffic Police towards common people. He said it is unfortunate that Traffic Police has used abusive language with a driver and thrashed him at Udhampur two days back when driver refused to pay entry fee.
He while talking to media said a fresh incident took place where Traffic Police challaned a scooty rider for not wearing a seat belt. When scooty rider objected then a Traffic Police Officer made a sarcastic comment. One more incident happen one month ago when Traffic Police challaned a car driver for not wearing helmet at Surankote of Poonch district.
Sharma said that the Traffic Police is creating terror among the people especially those who are from rest of India. The cops of Traffic Police charge illegal entries in the name of challan.
Kranti Dal demanded immediate action against who challenged scooty rider for not wearing the seat belt.
Other Kranti Dal leaders who were present on the occasion were Vijay Kumar, Karnail Chand, Rajan Gupta, Amit Menia, Puran Chand Khajuria, P S Pathania, Vijay Sharma, Pandit Ravi Sharma, Ajay Sharma, etc.
